As I am left dealing with the reality that the facts behind the reasons the United States went to war with Iraq have been completely refuted,  as a citizen and a human being I have to take responsibility for supporting  the war initially. My question is, that if I am capable of admitting my mistake, trusting the government, and still take my share of accountability as a citizen, why, as a country are we not holding those who were in power responsible for such heinous acts, lies and war crimes?
